Bonfire Mele & Moʻolelo 🔥🎶
Enjoy a cool Waimea afternoon that flows into the evening with storytelling and song celebrating the spirit of Waimea and our paniolo heritage. This special event features moʻolelo — the rich stories of the land, its people, and the cowboy culture that shaped our community — brought to life through mele, the songs that carry these histories forward.

We’ve also invited a select group of food trucks to serve up a special paniolo-inspired dinner and dessert for you to enjoy. Bring your own small table and chair, or a hāliʻi (mat) to sit on the grass, and settle around the camp fire for a little warmth, culture, and connection.
